The SLC Angels (formerly the Olympus Angels) is an association of accredited angel investors based in Salt Lake City that share an interest in investing in early-stage, high-tech companies with substantial growth potential. The SLC Angels provide mentoring and invest in promising entrepreneurial companies to help them grow and prosper. The SLC Angels are made up of individuals with diverse backgrounds. All members are accredited investors and are expected to make at least 1 investment every 1-2 years of at least $10k. The SLC Angels meet twice a month; once for screening companies and once for a dinner meeting. The SLC Angels typically invest $50k-$300k at a time. The biggest investment made was $1.2m and the smallest was $25k. The SLC Angels frequently collaborate with other investors. The SLC Angels primarily invest in emerging technology businesses that demonstrate strong revenue and EBITA growth opportunities in the upcoming 1-3 years.
